Your whole family is welcome to serve with us! Times required to serve vary depending on the team you choose.
Picnic in the Park allows Harvest Vineyard and Orchard Hill churches to be a welcoming presence in the Walnut Neighborhood outside the four walls of our churches. Together, Harvest and Orchard Hill practice the hospitality and the love of Jesus by reaching out to neighbors through a meal, fellowship, and worship in Lincoln Park (between E 4th St and Mulberry St) in Waterloo, Iowa.
This year picnics take place 3 Sundays in Lincoln Park (June 2, 16, July 7). We are asking 30 volunteers to join us each picnic in order to serve our community well. We firmly believe you’ll be blessed as you seek to be a blessing to others. We also invite you to come and eat and worship and join in as participants of the meal and the worship time.
Schedule of the Event
11:00 am: volunteer huddle
11:45 am: lunch starts being served
12:15-30pm: worship service begins
1:00 pm: event finishes
